The objective of the course is to provide a first contact with research activities and teaching, and thus qualifying the student to work in the industry, universities and research centers. The MSc degree requires a minimum of 24 credits and the confection of a dissertation. The student must choose one course in Fundamental Formation (4 credits), two courses in Basic Formation (8 credits), and three courses of free choice (but recommended by the student advisor) (12 credits).
MSc students must be approved in a proficiency test in English (text analysis dealing with scientific and/or technological themes), as well as the dissertation defense. The typical duration of the MSc course is 24 months (2 years), and the student is encouraged to take 3 courses by semester during the first year.
